Slicer & Printer Profiles
O.D.I.N. includes a profile library for managing slicer and printer configuration files across your farm. Upload profiles once, then distribute them to any machine or team member.
Supported Formats
| Format | Slicer / System | Extension |
|---|---|---|
| JSON | OrcaSlicer, Bambu Studio | .json |
| INI | PrusaSlicer, SuperSlicer | .ini |
| CFG | Klipper (printer.cfg, macros) | .cfg |
Uploading Profiles
Upload profiles through the web UI at Library > Profiles. Each profile can be tagged with:
- Printer model -- e.g., Bambu X1C, Voron 2.4, Prusa MK4
- Slicer -- e.g., OrcaSlicer, PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio
- Material -- e.g., PLA, PETG, ASA, TPU
- Custom tags -- any freeform tags for your own organization
Version History
Every time you update a profile, O.D.I.N. saves a new revision. The revision history lets you:
- View diffs between versions
- Roll back to a previous revision
- See who uploaded each version and when
Use version history to track tuning changes. When you dial in a new PETG profile, upload it as a new revision rather than a separate profile -- this keeps a clean audit trail.
Search & Filter
The profile library is searchable by:
- Profile name
- Printer model
- Slicer type
- Material
- Custom tags
Combine filters to quickly find what you need. For example, find all PrusaSlicer PETG profiles for the Prusa MK4.
Distribution
Profiles are downloadable from the web UI by any team member with viewer access or above. This gives your farm a single source of truth for slicer settings -- no more passing USB drives or emailing config files.
Profiles are stored in the O.D.I.N. database and persist across updates. They are included in standard database backups.
