Keyboard Shortcuts

O.D.I.N. supports keyboard shortcuts for fast navigation and common actions. Shortcuts do not trigger when focus is in an input field, textarea, or select element.

Press ? to Open the Help Modal

Press the ? key at any time to open the in-app keyboard shortcuts reference modal. Press ? again or Escape to close it.

Navigation Shortcuts

Press G followed by a letter within 1 second to navigate to a page. The G prefix times out after 1 second if no second key is pressed.

Global Search

Keyboard trigger: Cmd+K (macOS) or Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux)

Global Search provides cross-entity search across:

• Printers (by name)
• Jobs (by name and status)
• Models (by name)
• Spools (by material and color)
• Orders (by reference and customer)
• Products (by name and SKU)

Using Global Search

1. Press Cmd+K / Ctrl+K to open the search overlay
2. Type your query — results appear in real time (minimum 2 characters)
3. Use the arrow keys to navigate through results
4. Press Enter to navigate to the selected result
5. Press Escape to close without navigating

Results include a matching highlight to show which part of the record matched your query.
