First Login & Setup
After installation, open your browser to http://your-server-ip:8000. The setup wizard runs automatically on first launch.
Setup Wizard
1. Create your admin account
Enter a username and password. This becomes the root admin account with full access to all features.
Pick a strong password. This account has unrestricted access to printer controls, user management, and system configuration.
2. Name your farm
Give your print farm a name. This appears in the dashboard header and can be changed later under Settings > Branding.
3. Done
That's it. The wizard drops you into the main dashboard, ready to add printers.
Adding Your First Printer
From the dashboard, click Printers > Add Printer. O.D.I.N. supports four printer protocols:

Select the protocol, enter the connection details, and O.D.I.N. will auto-detect the printer model and start pulling telemetry.

Default License Tier
O.D.I.N. starts on the Community tier, which is free and includes:
- Up to 5 printers
- 1 user account
- Core features: dashboard, telemetry, job management, model library, filament tracking
- Camera streaming via go2rtc
- Vigil AI print failure detection
The Community tier has no time limit. Upgrade to Pro, Education, or Enterprise when you need more printers, users, or features like RBAC, OIDC SSO, and scheduled reports. See Configuration > License for details.
